Follow Interstate 395 South toward Richmond, Va. Merge onto Interstate 95 South. Take exit 166A toward VA-286 South/Fairfax County Parkway. Continue for 2.5 miles and turn left onto Liberty Drive.

Follow MD-295 South, Baltimore-Washington Parkway. Exit onto Interstate 495 South/Interstate 95 South toward Richmond Va./Andrews Air Force Base. Follow signs for Interstate 95 South toward Richmond, Va. Take exit 166A toward VA-286 South/Fairfax County Parkway. Continue for 2.5 miles and turn left onto Liberty Drive.

There is no charge for parking. Parking at the Museum is for visitors, volunteers and staff only.
The Museum’s parking area is closed during nonoperating hours.
Buses may drop off their passengers using the bus loop directly in front of the Museum entrance.
There are a limited number of dedicated spaces available for bus and oversized vehicle parking. These spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Oversized vehicles may not park in single-occupancy spaces.
The Franconia-Springfield Metro Station, on the blue line, is the closest station to the Museum. From the metro station, take Fairfax County Connector Bus Route 334, which includes a stop at the Museum. Please note, Bus Route 334 is available Monday-Friday only and does not currently operate on the weekends.

Visitors traveling via the Virginia Railway Express (VRE) should take the Fredericksburg Line to the Franconia-Springfield Metro Station. From the metro station, take Fairfax Connector Bus Route 334, which includes a stop at the Museum. Bus Route 334 is available Monday-Friday only and does not currently operate on the weekends

A bike lane parallels Liberty Drive and VA-286/Fairfax County Parkway and is open to cyclists and pedestrians. Bike racks are available at the Museum.
