Revolutionary War Symposium

The Museum will present a full day symposium focusing on the first two years of the Revolutionary War to highlight the 250th anniversary of the Army’s founding, and the opening of the Museum’s new special exhibit next year, “Call to Arms: The Soldier and the Revolutionary War.”

This free program will feature noted speakers and an exclusive behind the scenes look at the new exhibit. The program will be available both in-person and virtually.

Symposium presenters include:

  • David Preston: “Roots of Conflict”
  • Holly Mayer: “The Formation of the Army”
  • Michael Cecere: “The Early War in the South”
  • Mark Lender: “Washington’s Campaigns, 1776-77”
